The ticket prices of Jr NTR’s Devara have been hiked in Telangana theatres ahead of the film’s release on September 27. Additionally, extra shows have been added to cater to fans’ demands. The film marks Jr NTR’s first since SS Rajamouli’s RRR. It also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan.
After Andhra Pradesh, Telangana government authorities issued a notice approving a hike in ticket prices and adding shows on Devara release day.
Devara has been granted permission for extra shows and increased ticket prices during its first two days. On the release day, the film will have 1 am screenings in 29 theatres, with a Rs 100 ticket price hike. In Telangana, six shows will start from 4 am on day one, also with a Rs 100 price increase.
From Day 2 (September 28) to Day 10 (October 6), the film will feature five daily shows, with ticket prices raised by Rs 50 in multiplexes and Rs 25 in single-screen theatres.

In Andhra Pradesh, the state has approved a ticket price hike, with upper-class tickets increasing by Rs 110, lower-class by Rs 60, and multiplex tickets by Rs 135. The order also allows six special shows on release day, starting at midnight, along with five additional shows per day from the second day onward.
Helmed by Koratala Siva, Devara: Part 1 also stars Prakash Raj, Srikanth and Shine Tom Chacko in important roles. Produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, the film’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Rathnavelu and editing by Sreekar Prasad.
